She walked out of the huge blue gates with gifts and flowers. 38 years of teaching has just passed by. It was her farewell. She came back home, alone. He walked out of the huge blue gates with a gift and a bouquet. 3 years of college life just passed by. It was his farewell. He went to the military academy, alone.

She was his favourite teacher. He sends her a friend request on Facebook. Though he had never spoken to her before, now each day they speak on Facebook messenger. Now as the Sun would set by the teacher’s window, there would be a ping. Her student would ask her how her day was. She would tell him how she tried to install her new microwave. And he would tell her all about how he climbed rocks during the day. Being alone brings strange friendships. Now they are friends across states. Less lonely. Both trying to baby walk into a new life!
